Persons usually take CAMCE during their internship year. However given the limited seats with CAMCE part 2, it is best to take CAMCE part 1 as early as possible in your internship year or during observership.

PlAB/UKLMLA resources can be used to prepare for CAMCE1 example plabable.

You can use combined licensing exams to apply for your medical license. If you have completed Usmle step 1&2, you only need to do CAMCE part 2 in order to qualify rather than taking step 3.

If you don't pass your exams before the end of internship, you don't qualify for medical license registration and must repeat internship year.
